At UNIR-Haïti, Fanm Yo La (“Women Matter Too”) is a platform that amplifies and strengthens the leadership of Haitian women, reaffirming their transformative role in society. This initiative honors the rightful place of women in building a better future for Haiti, boldly proclaiming: “We, the women, are here.” The name is both a declaration of active presence and a call to society to listen to and recognize the valuable contributions of women across the country.

How can you be part of this change?

🌸 The Fanm Yo La Scholarship
With your support, six women will have the opportunity to complete their university studies through a scholarship that includes:

  • A monthly stipend to cover basic needs.

  • Access to a residence with reliable electricity and lighting—essential resources for studying in Haiti’s challenging conditions.

  • Academic mentorship to support them in writing and defending their undergraduate theses, preparing them to become professionals ready to lead change in their communities.

🌺 The First Feminist Political Education Summit
More than 20 young Haitian women will participate in this groundbreaking event, designed to inspire, educate, and strengthen their leadership in a context where such opportunities are urgently needed.

In a country deeply affected by insecurity, these initiatives serve as a beacon of hope.
