UNIR-Haïti opens a public call for the recruitment of a person to assume the role of Territorial Coordinator for the Kreye pou Rekonekte project, within the framework of the Territory Defense Program.

The position aims to strengthen the project’s presence in the territory, ensure continuity and follow-up of community initiatives, and support actions related to territory defense and mining-related issues in Northeast Haiti.

Modality: On-site (Terrier Rouge, Limonade, Ouanaminthe, Cap-Haïtien)
Duration: Initial 3-month contract (with possibility of extension)

Profile and Main Requirements

  • Completed university degree in agroecology, social sciences, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Haitian Creole and French.
  • Availability for fieldwork and frequent travel within the country.
  • Experience in or connection with community, territorial, or socio-environmental processes.
  • Strong organizational skills, including activity follow-up and report writing.
  • Commitment to territory defense and the principles of the Kreye pou Rekonekte project.
  • Knowledge of Spanish: desirable (not mandatory).
